Classic Car Action Day at Castle Combe

I was in the queue behind the imp for my first session; can't say I saw much of it once we were out on the circuit. The K-Series 'content' would explain that ::)

I half agree with Tim - The organisers need to clamp down on the lunies, and also organise the sessions better: I was 'supposedly' booked for the pre 1980 saloons sessions; yet was dodging 'moderns' all day long ??)
The trouble seems to be lack of classic owners who will take their cars out; so they (Castle Combe) fill up the places with anyone who will pay for them. Of course; the main argument for those of us on a budget would be that £30 a go is a bit steep - even more so if you're afraid of other drivers who have no respect for their own cars, let alone our pride and joys.
The organisers clearly state that precedence will be given to "older classics" on these days; so, that may be the way to keep the dickheads out: Fill up all the places so there are none left for them :-/ We just need the numbers to fill the places.
