Dogsbody47uk
Has anyone any experience or advice on fitting the later Spitfire, longer driveshafts to a 13/60? The drive flanges are not a problem, but what needs to be done about the radius arms? . Cheers, Dave.

JohnD
The first version of the Silverback, originally a 13/60 estate, was long rear half shafts. The result was a rear camber of more than three degrees negative (sloping in at the top) Made it look like a cartoon car in go-faster mood, and did not improve performance. See pic.The excessive camber was relieved by fitting a swing spring, which is what the longer shafts were designed to work with. So more work and sourcing if you want to go that way.JOhn
