morning all, I will be taking the vitesse up to cumbria in about a fortnight to have od box fitted, mechanic was on the phone wanting to make sure he has the right box as its a 320 mile round trip any checks I can make, its a 1970 mk2

What box, but if it came out a vitesse (and is not a conversion, ie dolly single rail etc) it will go in.
You need all the ancillaries too, rubber mount, metal mounting plate, speedo cable, angle drive for cable, switch/cowl, loom/relay for switch and propshaft etc.
Be sure you have EVERYTHING as delays cost.

Difficult to check without stripping or driving it.

Don't forget the need for a longer gear selector (if that's what it's called) with the 'T' piece on the end for the inhibitor switch, as well as the bracket to mount the inhibitor switch. I only say because I know someone who did forget just those items.....
