    Hi all next meeting at Farmer Johns Tuesday 7th November see you all there I’ll be arranging the new year meal, thought about holding it at the pub on Saturday 13th January. I’ll make announcement next meeting.

    Hi my herald has 2 numbers on the offside tub, one steel plate in front of the wiper motir and one brass plate on the side of the tub, I can only assume that as Clive says, they relate to the body/tub numbers

    I am perfectly capable of determining the safety of my car, Being a qualified mechanic myself (I have a level 2 qualification in vehicle repair and maintenance) however The mot garage I use have classic cars themselves so understand classics, I trust their judgement entirely. I have used them for over 20 years. They also let me use the pit and 2 post lift when I want to check over my car myself pre MOT. It’s my own personal choice to MOT my car,

    I just taxed Mabel last year online without any issue, I got her MOTD this year for my own peace of mind that she’s a safe conveyance

    Hi Steve, Darren had problems with his 123 dizzy, Dale Barker finally got to the bottom of it, there is a tiny resistor fitted in the rotor arm on the 123 and these can break down causing poor spark and erratic ignition timing. Sounds pretty much the same, Olaf ran like a pig, new rotor arm sorted 👍
