    You can ease the engine and gearbox mounts and Jack the engine forward a little, this should give you a few mm to play with. I did this on my herald to get the prop off

    Our new year meal will be held at Farmer Johns on Saturday 13th January, at 7pm I would appreciate you letting me know either on this forum or on our WhatsApp group - if you are on it, if you are coming along, it will also be our monthly meeting on this date instead of the first Tuesday of the month but only on this occasion. , from February it will be the usual first Tuesday. Thanks all

    Car parking fees are scandalous, also it’s an absolute nightmare trying to get off site after the show on Sunday, the parking attendants are more interested in allowing visitors for the nights entertainment onto the site than letting all the exhibitors leave, lots of classics queuing and overheating, just the same as last year. But otherwise I did enjoy the show.

    Ken is excellent but has a special rate for regular customers and recommendations, he is well known in the classic world in the West Midlands he has a proper old fashioned workshop with boxes of parts tucked away

    I would have thought the idea of encouraging young owners would be paramount to preserve these cars, after all most of us are of a ‘ certain age’ the young enthusiast is a very important part of the future of classic cars in general, not just Triumphs. These young drivers will be the saviour of the insurance companies as well as the cars

    Been there with my Herald, even less room, upside down, legs over the back of driver seat head under the dash connecting the speedo drive into the back of the clock. 🙄

    I have an accuspark system on Mabel, I had heard that powrspark were not the best mines been good so far after it’s first year being fitted

    I will be arranging our annual ‘ not the Christmas meal ‘ for Saturday 13th January. It will hopefully be held at the meeting venue, Farmer Johns, I shall discuss reserving the conservatory for this date with Ian at the next meeting on Tuesday 6th November. Hopefully he’s back then as he has been unwell. I may need to know roughly how many of us are planning to attend. See you all on 6th 😊
