Diff failure - 3 -  2 x GT6 and 1 Mk2 2000 saloon Clutch failure - 2 - Stag and Dolimite Sprint Gearbox failure/stuck in reverse - 2 - TR7 and 2.5PI Mk2 saloon Driveshaft/wjheel baering/UJ - 2 - Herald and Spitfire Headgasket - 2 Mk1 2000 and Domoite 1500HL I supoose it is possible to say the majority of that is transmission of one sort or another.

  6. Thanks for all your help. I can't remember who supplied the kit as I bought it some time ago ahead of needing it. It will have been either Rimmers or Chris Witor tho

  8. I have fitted an upgrade to my Mk2 2000 which isa braided clutch hose kit but I keep losing the fluid. It's not from the connection at the master cylinder and the second picture shows the pool of fluid on the car port floor from around the slave cylinder area. It's a new slave sylinder and I think the leak is from the connections but I can't tghten them any more than I have. See first picture for the connections which are between the oil filter and sump. Now, there were copper washers supplied but they seemed too big and I still had leaks then so I have removed them. Any ideas? Should I get new copper washers and exactly where should they go if I do?
  9. The regs said 50 places maximum.  10% is  err  5?
  10. michael_charlton wrote:Area`s: I think we have five cars entered from P and P  :) That would be 10% of the entire entry :)
  11. michael wrote:the start is AACHEN REGARDS MICHAEL So Rolduc would be a good place to stay over for the start as well?
  12. beans wrote: Rolduc is were the finish is. I believe the start to be circa 2 to 2,5 hours further north (not taking into account morning rush hour traffic) ... Is that right Theo. Kerkrade and Aachen look very close on Google maps. We will be going over from Dover on a mid day or early afternoon ferry on the Wednesday.
  13. As I'm a lazy git I'll be staying over the night before somewhere near/in Aaachen to make sure I make it :) Now I also realise that Kerkrade is very near there isn't it?
  14. michael_charlton wrote: As the start of the event will be mid morning on the first day   Mike, the regs say Ten Countries Run 2015Regulations 1 Announcement: The 2015 Ten Countries Run as organised by Club Triumph will take place between Thursday10th September 2015 and Sunday 13th September 2015, starting at approx 09.00hrs on the Thursday.
  15. So how about starting a list on here before the official entries. I will start with Martin Randle/David Lidbury/Hank Hall   Mk2 2000
  16. When I went to the link another choice was "ain't no pkeasing you"   ;D
  17. If any entertainment is needed at any point I know a very good band. Good mates rates, see the Randle entry in the 2000 :)

    What bulb?

Anyone know what the bulb is in the clock on a 2000? It would be the same for a Dolly too I would imagine. It's a screw type but smaller than the other instrument bulbs :-/
  20. Smaller meetings? If it's possible newbies should go to their local area meetings. At Pendle and Pennine we have given best advice to first timers and this year arranged delivery of spares.  Our newbies also knew where those of us marshalling would be so they knew where there would be friendly faces.
