Annoying but a drop in the Ocean compared to the amount I'll be shelling out on fuel !!!! -
I'm after a pair of sills for my mk1 and the other half's facelift P.I goes through them at a far rate :)

It was indeed a truly epic run , despite a few hiccups on the way, Thank you to everybody who tried to keep the old girl running , I really thought I was going home for almost certain on two occasions. I really feel for those who failed to finish as I know how much work goes into preparation of this event :)

Whatever you do don't clean them , you need the minimal gunge there to aid sealing of the butterflies :)

If you've only just acquired it what are the front pads like , also the rear cylinders could be seized/partially seized :)

Re wiring my MK 2 spit , but am pretty sure it's the same as Mk3 , Could someone please advise where the wires go on the switch ,according to the wiring diagram two run to the same terminal , is this correct ?? Cheers :)

My mk1 has roller top mounts but its still a pig to park or manuvere at low speeds , having said that i'm keeping them !!

Car 103 Mk1 2500 Doug thompson/ chris hooper ,plenty of fuel , but oddly car only consumed 2.5 litres of oil ,whereas in 2010 it gulped down 5 litres , same engine etc... sameright foot , :-/

Sorry about the headlight ,but is was a bit of a giggle wasn't it ?! .That unofficial stop at The Crask Inn was a nice surprise , thanks to cheese guru's Mr Langrick and Mr shackford , founder members of the staight six cheese club .(woot)
