rear disc brake set-up

I live in the US, so sending my rear axle to the shop in the UK that does the rear disc brake set-up is cost prohibitive for me.  Is there a write-up of  how to do this anywhere?

Having said that, why bother? The main braking effort is at the front anyway.

I presume your car is a 5 speed by the way - there are different axles for the 4 and 5 speeds.

The works cars used drum brakes for the first year or so also - that's how mine is going to stay.

My car is presently a 4 speed car, but it will be a 5 speed when I get around to rallying it.

Putting rear discs in the car is on the ToDo list, but well down the list.  Just doing a little research so that I know lead time and pricing.

Does anyone know what rear caliper was used on the works rally cars?  I would like to be period correct, if possible.
