MK3 Wheels on a 1500

Hello all

Just looking to put some mk3 wheels on my 1500. I know there a fair bit narrower and obviously no vent holes but other than that will it work?

Im guessing it will effect cornering some what but I'm never going to be throwing this car around and really like the look of white MK3 wheels with the hubcaps on.

Any input appreciated

Its possible, but I don`t understand why.Look at all that space in the wheel arches . Would n`t look right to me

Wheels are not smaller though are they just narrower. MK3 can also take wider wheels but don't look silly with the factory ones, main reason is 1500 wheels don't accept hub caps.

if you get 41/2 wide steels no difference to standard ,  just done it on a mk4 for a mate and think it suits it,  if you need any 41/2 steels that take hubcaps and live anywhere near norfolk  i have about 8laying around
