Radiator fan switch

I guess you want one that brings it back to working temp — I presume you want one that turns on at an acceptable overheating temp and turns off just below your thermostat temp?

I actually have one sitting in my rad that I never ended up using — it's just blocking the hole :)

Hi all

I am looking to fit a radiator fan switch, but am not sure what temp I need.

Would the car being setup for doing autosolos and track days make any difference ?

Does anyone know what temp I should be using?

Thanks James

It depends on where the switch will be put (and what temp stat you have)
1) Stat cover
2) Top of rad
3) Bottom of rad
4) somewhere else !!

I ended up with mine on the top of rad opposite the top hose
I think I ended up with a 87 on and 82 off
I ended up buying two or three different temp ones until I got one I was happy with
I'll check what I have tomorrow and confirm
