Ningaloo Posted December 5, 2015 Share Posted December 5, 2015 Hi I have a mk 2 1966 spitfire , I have the body off and I'm wanting to lift the engine off the chassisI have the pulley and load leveller ready but I'm not sure where the lifting points are located can anyone help? drofgum Posted December 6, 2015 Share Posted December 6, 2015 Ningaloo,The front lifting eye is built into the generator adjusting link. The rear one is held to the head by the rear two head nuts on the manifold side. These are on the two studs that are longer than the other nine.
