thescrapman
I know I could get life for surfing here...http://www.mgbhive.co.uk/special_offers.htmlBut I had spotted the pair of MGB Calipers for £75 outright whilst looking for a spitfire servo (£82-odd compared to £130 from Triumph specialists for the servo)Not much more than a single 2000 caliper, and no exchange.A bargain I think!!!CheeersColin
fogothdon
Excuse my ignorance, so are MGB and Triumph 2000 calipers one and the same, or is there more to it.... :)Regards,Donald.
thescrapman
They use the same seals, and appear to have the same p/n.CheersColin

DJB_Harvey
I think MGB callipers only fit MK1 2OOOs with the .350" Disc....So be careful before buying !
thescrapman
Is that the thinner or fatter disc??The seals are certainly the same, but confirmation on the caliper would be great.I started with something that may not have been correctly identified to me, and Chinese whispers ensures that what emerges at the other end may not be totally correct.CheersColin
DJB_Harvey
Thats the thinner disc (.3500")as per 2OOO up to approx late 68 models ...late MK1 and all MK2s use .500" discs as does MK1PIs..pistons/seal kits all like MGB/Rootes models but cut outs in callipers vary.
