bennygoodman
I'm seriously thinking of removing the body tub to lay it on its side in order to clean up the underside, do a bit of welding and then stonechip it while it is off, how hard is it to remove bareing in mind the interior is completely stripped and there is no glass in it, and how many people does it take to lift it off in safety? Clive
Quite easy one all the bolts are undone. can be lifted by 2 people, 4 better. And don't forget to disconnect the handbrake cable!
bennygoodman
Cheers Clifty, I wont need to diss anything, the tub is completely stripped while I'm restoring the thing.
Sheepy
If you need to do structural welding, I.e. the sills! Leave it on the chassis, brace the door gaps to keep it all in place.Better to do all the welding now! ;)
