ferny
I've only been charged £358 so far. I don't bother keep tallies, just whack it on the credit card and split the bill in two.
Karl Reilly GT6
I don't think my speedo is particularly accurate, but in a 2.5l GT6 we did home to home (Essex) 1,852 miles, with 330litres costing £583, and averaging 26mpg. But there was quite a bit of variance in that, being particularly low from a fast thrash down the M6, and the fun section Glendrid to Monmouth 🙂 But none of that matters. It's mile of smiles and all that. If I was worried about costs, I'd buy a diesel eurobox and drive at 56mph everywhere (before shooting myself)
Tim Bancroft
Dave Langrick in his 2.5L Spitfire has just sent the following to me: £499.91. 302 litres. 1909 miles knebworth to knebworth. 28.83 mpg
Colin Cutts
2 litre tr7 home to home 2281 miles 63.27gals which in my reckoning is 36.05 mpg and really had to boot the old girl to make up a little bit of lost time
Buttercup
I posted what I thought were my stats a couple of times in the WhatsApp group but then I would find another receipt and MPG changed again 🙃 I think finally I have the right numbers:
