GT6
On SU HS2 front float bowl, new floats needles and seats. Electric pump with max 3psi.I was looking over the engine after a run and gave the engine a good rev up and when let off, a brief jet of fuel shotout of the overflow hole (there is no guard over that one). At all other times it appears fuel tight and requires agood amount of revs quickly and released before it happens. What do you reckon is the cause? Clive
How is the fuel pressure controlled? and have you tested the actual pressure? I have heard of fuel pumps giving higher pressures than they claim. If a separate regulator I would drop the pressure down to 1-2psi, that will be plenty (you require no pressure at all really, just enough flow) The cause is probably the "jolt" in fuel pressure as the demand shuts. GT6
That sounds right Clive, no regulator fitted. Any recommendations for good regulators that control pressure and allow flow?
