Bonnet / 1/4 Corner Valance GAPS

Hi,

Does anyone know how to correct the gaps between the front bumper and 1/4 corner valances and the bonnet, on a Spitfire MK4?

I/ve tried adjusting the bonnet via the bolts under the front covers, but a sizeable gap remains....  

Any ideas would be appreciated, as they normally fit flush from what I can see on other pictures.

There should be rubber tubing on top of the valance that makes a seal with the bonnet

looks like thr rubber is on there but not quite making the seal maybe the bracket is bent slightly

Also if the bumper hasa slight twist on the end that can bend the valance down
