popeye Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Some weeks ago a message on the forum about the Spare club parts has been posted . I think this could be interesting for the 2000MKI owners. I have managed to contact some badge companies wich would be able to produce a reproduction of the "2000" chrome badge: It tooks me a long time but I have an excellent contact with one of them wich give a quotation. It could be interested to let this now to the club and try to know how many owners would be interested ? In the meantime, I sent a mail to the parts suppliers to try to do a buyer list (one of them could be OK for 25) ... A deal for everybody may be find. (I am OK to buy several of them: often stole here in france). Here is the quotation directly from the factory:Artwork - FREESet up - £295.00 (one off charge)5 units - £34.95 per unit10 units - £24.95 per unit25 units - £14.95 per unit50 units - £9.95 per unitThe more tricky things is to find how charge the Set Up cost ... Please, do not hesitate to come back to me for letting me know what you think about my idea.I wish you all the best Quote
mikeyb Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 I suppose only a small number of cars relevant to that badge are around. someone on here was looking for such a month or two ago - or was that you?Have you duplicated your post on the Triumph 2000 register forum? Quote

Richard B Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 I've just cross posted it there.Split the setup cost equally? If you can get 50 made (orders) then the total is about £16If you can get 25 made (orders) then the total is about £27If neccesary I suggest approach one of the traders such as Chris Witor, Bill of Rarebits or Dave at Canley Classics. They may be willing to take the rest of the order. :-/ Quote

popeye Posted May 23, 2013 Author Posted May 23, 2013 Hi,It is not the "2000" insert badge that will fit on the rear bumper of late MKI.It is the "2000" chrome script badge that match the "TRIUMPH" named badge you show at http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-615702 I join a picture to show what it looks.
