marktheherald
Hi, at present I have a capilliary oil pressure gauge, and am considering changing to an electrical one. Do I use the existing electrical sender that connects to the warning light, or do I need a separate dedicated switch for the new gauge? Cheers, Mark. Gt6s
You will need to use the sender supplied with new guage with any luck this will also opperate the oil light saving any T piece or removing any blank plugs to run the light switch.
marktheherald
Thanks for that, the sender will have to be sourced as the gauge I am after is a used multi-gauge, and does not include a sender. Any thoughts as to a suitable donor, or would I be better-off contacting someone like Speedy Cables or Canleys? Cheers, Mark.
CharlieB
Find a sender from one of the many places that sells guages then temporarily have both connected (via the T piece) to make sure the electric guage is reading correctly.
