GTRoger
Don't think I can do without on a PI ? Problem is, I do have the original LHD choke cable from my donor car but some previous owner pulled the inner cables from the outer. No way I get them back in (I tried...) or is there a trick? Will it work fitting a single cable attached to the MU and control the trottle by foot? Obviously I can't get a new cable, maybe there is one for a LHD TR6 PI but don't know if it has the correct lenght.
Ridgetone Triumph
Yes you can, :P I don't have a choke cable fitted on my PI, but it will still start even in the frozen -4 mornings, like last Saturday Brrrrrrr ;D
DJB_Harvey
A single cable to the metering unit is all that's required , the early single balance pipe throttle bodies fast idle cam arrangement doesn't work well even when adjusted correctly . Thanks for the input, that's one item less to worry about.
