hypoid53
Has anyone an old Unipart manual to car reference these clutch parts for me:-GCC 168 Clutch cover (Laycock).....I believe GT6 and some of the 2000 seriesGCP 196 Clutch plate.....hopefully for above, believed Laycock, but no markings.I bought these years ago for my GT6 but my memory is not what it was... :-/The numbers have probably been superceeded, but I would like to know for sure. Spitfire2500
FWIW I checked a couple of old (1980s) parts lists I have and I couldn't tie up these two part numbers with any Triumph models. The info I have is hardly exhaustive though :B
Spider
Came across this.http://www.team.net/archive/triumphs/1998-06/msg01225.html
andy thompson
Certainly looks like a 2000 cover ... but http://www.ebay.com/itm/TRIUMPH-VITESSE-GT6-DOLOMITE-SPRINT-GENUINE-LAYCOCK-CLUTCH-PLATE-NEW-/310554182689?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item484e78c421
hypoid53
Thanks for the information chaps. It certainly looks as if the clutch cover is GT6, :) so I just need to firm up what the GCP 196 clutch plate is for, however, Mick Dolphin describes it in his list as a Laycock clutch for a GT6!
