Martins Stag
Just been looking at the Rimmer web site and I have seen these and comparing recovering and re-foaming standard Stag seats with leather the cost is fairly similar. Has any one any experience of fitting Tr6 seats into a Stag at all? I am guessing you can make anything fit if you try hard enough but i don't want to try too hard.... https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-RR1542 Martin
Rubce
There are far better options for Stag seats. Fiat Coupe (Which is what's in ours) Audi TT Jaguar XJS Regards Bruce Edited March 25, 2023 by Rubce
Tim Bancroft
Martin, I would think the original Stag seats are a better seat than the TR6. I replaced the TR6 seats in my 6 as I found the squabs to be too short and I was getting cramp, replaced with MX5 mk2 seats (Sep headrest type). I would look around and do as suggested by Bruce, or re-build your existing Stag jobbies. Good luck.
iani
Another vote for Fiat Coupe seats in a Stag, I found them to be excellent when I had them in mine. As Tim says, the TR6 seats aren't great, I went for the same MK5 ones in my TR.
TRTOM2498
As above, I would stick with the original Stag seats. TR6 seats are fine, providing they have not been rebuilt, as you sit in them, not on them. Still run them in both of my cars, but with a 4-point harness ! Cheers. Martins Stag
Gents many thanks just looking at options. I have some Hyundai Scope seats in at the moment and they are coming to the end of life....
