Rosbif
Hi everyone, a previous owner fitted the badge in the image below (sorry about the size) and I would like to try and identify where it comes from. Clearly not an original fitting to a 13/60 and my searches so far have drawn a blank with other models. I have left the letter 'U' so as to give the scale of the badge. Thanks for any info you have. Velocita Rosso
Similar to the MK1 2000 valance/bonnet badge ,except that has an ornate scroll along the inner top
Ridgetone Triumph
Quoted from Velocita Rosso Similar to the MK1 2000 valance/bonnet badge ,except that has an ornate scroll along the inner top That ornate scroll was depicting the more up market model 😀
Rosbif
Yes I have seen a version with a scroll, looked as if it was on a dolomite.I'll research the Vanguard.
Rosbif
Further research has come up with:A couple of photos of the exact same badge, front & back, cited as possibly from 1950's Atlas van.More likely though also found photos of 1300 TC fronts with the same looking badge & on Ebay what looks to be the same badge however without any of the white/blue paint left.I will restore the blue painted zone and refit. Not much choice really as there would be 3 holes in the bonnet (angry) visible otherwise.
