TedTaylor Posted March 11, 2013 Share Posted March 11, 2013 When we assessed the work on the bodywork on the Mk1 saloon which Andy is just starting I noticed that the bonnet has got into a bit of a rusty state while in storage.Would anyone by any chance have a good spare I could beg, buy or steal please? CRAJ Posted March 11, 2013 Share Posted March 11, 2013 I think that measuring would prove the mk1 nonnet was a bit narrower at the front end than a mk2.Mk1 wings dont have an extra piece on the top of the front wings before they weld to the inners, mk2s do and this is covered by the extra width of the bonnet.
