Steve Cureton
The TSSC ones I have seen on a GT6 do a good job. They can't lift the bonnet under their own means, they only help for one person to lift the bonnet by themselves evenly and without flexing , and also make it easier to lower again. They do not pop up under their own power as some people appear to think, and it still requires effort to lift the bonnet, although I take the point about lifting if the catches come undone, but that is down to error or faulty catches and struts make no difference to that.
