on mine the headlining is wraped/glued to thefront drop  flange on the roof, when roof is pulled down on the seal it comes level with the screen rubber, there's nothing of the header to see !!

the a posts are covered with a seperate strip glued in place on the apereture flanges and screen seal and door seals fitted over .

Costigan: "The roof lining on most Heralds was attached to the front edge of the roof and trapped when the roof was bolted into position; on Couriers and estates the trim continued over the front and was trapped under the windscreen seal; all Vitesse saloons used the normal Herald arrangements, but had additional trim across the top and sides of the windscreen frame."
Usual caveats.
