Fitting new seals in j type overdrive

I am renewing the seals in a j type ovrtdrive and i cant get the cover off the pump made a tool and the other 2 came off ok but no way can i get the one off the punp any ideas would be helpfull .

I'm afraid I had to use a pin punch to get mine started. Cleaned the holes up afterwards. Are you sure some butcher hasn't gone round the outside and peened the edges with a punch. good luck, I ended buying a book off ebay to see what I was doing.

It's working well now though.

Finaly got it undon with a bit of heat and a bigger hammer.
