Gearbox questions

Sujit Roy*     I need to get a gearbox cross shaft bush part no. 137651. It's for a Stag but seems to cross reference to other Triumphs. Some vendors offer wider one.


Any recommendations where to buy from?

Any experience with wishbone classics they seem to have some up rated ones listed for TR6 but cross references for a Stag too.


Also, I need to source a cluth release fork. Again seems to be the same as other Triumphs.

Again any recommendations?

Carrier/Sleeve - Release Bearing for the Stag is unique any recommendations here?

Looks like Rob Sport has a longer custom made LONG NOSE EXTENSION for the carrier sleeve to ride on. Is this the way to go?

I would say fit the wide ones and Chris Witor for the bushes.

Whereabouts are you?

The bushings are something that could be sourced as general engineering supplies for local suppliers - eg McMaster Carr if in the USA - you just need the dimensions.

Otherwise, buy all parts from the same place for combined shipping cost?

Bought some from the Roadster factory. They are about 2.5 times wider than the original.  They are not slotted. I put them in the freezer over night and then pressed them in with a mallet.
