iggy
Hi all tryed yesterday to remove the rear diff inner axle bearing retainer on my mk2 saloon, using the instructions from the triumph operation manual which says after removing the outer axle shaft undo and remove the 4 bolts that hold the bearing retainer, ease the bearing retainer and inner axle shaft assembly away from the diff casing, but the assembly would not move at all, tryed tapping it lghtly with wood and a hammer no luck, anyone got any tips or advice on removing this would be appreciated
Pete Lewis
Give it a good whack use a heavier hammer or decent lever to pop it out , There no fixings apart from the 4 , its likely just aged grot , its not a press fit Pete
