Grahamgl
Team 50Hi,I saw on the test postings to the Message thread that some of the participants have uploaded pictures. I have tried to do this using my smart phone (Samsung Galaxy), using guidance given on the Samsung website and, soon after I send the picture, I get the message "Error in server response". I have tried over two days sending several picture messages and, each time get the same "Error in server respones". I have just tried a message with no pictures and it went through no problem. Can anyone please advise me what to do?ThanksGraham
Clive
in the roadbook it mentions the sms number does not work for mms. That may be the issue?
thescrapman
Graham. If you are emailling them in, first make sure to do the "register" bit first.I got a "No MX or A records" error before I registered properly. There is also a quite small limit on picture size that can be emailled, I use 640*480 at a lowish quality, produces files of about 70k.I have just emailled in a test photo, I will see what appears.CheersColin
Keith
The limit was set to 500k, I've upped it to 1M, trouble is phone cameras can produce enormous files these days.Does that seem reasonable?K

That was why I settled on 640*480 at lowish quality.:-)
Keith
Colin,Yes, it was a lot lower, what it really needs is to downsize on upload, so that you can upload whatever you want. That won't be until the next version though!K
