Thanks then add your name to the thread below CSMA Club Motorsport Group CSMA Club Motorsport Group Track Day at Bedford Autodrome Tuesday April 10th 2012 RegulationsEvent timetable Scrutineering and Signing on 07:30 – 08:15 Welcome/ Briefing 08:30 Track Action begins 09:00 Morning session finishes 13:00 Lunch 13:00 – 14:00 Afternoon Track sessions commence 14:00 Final session finishes 17:00Track ActionWe have reserved 25 places for our CSMA Club “Open Pit Lane” track day at Bedford so please book early to avoid disappointment. The Entry Fee is £136 per CSMA Club Driver (£146 for non member drivers– space permitting) and this will give you up to seven hours track time on the fabulous 4.2 mile GT circuit. We will also have exclusive use of pit lane garages, hospitality area and free helmet loan for those that do not have their own.As always we shall have experienced Racing instructors available for one-to-one tuition and general advice. Please note that this will have to be booked on the day when signing on and there may be an additional charge for this.Other informationEntrants/Drivers will have to provide their own roadworthy vehicle for this event. A car can be shared by two drivers, however both must pay the relevant entry fee, be signed on as drivers and attend the safety briefingPre event Scrutineering will be carried out for basic safety requirements on all participating vehiclesHelmets must be worn by all Drivers and Passengers – bring your own if you can but there will be some available ‘on loan’ throughout the day but a deposit will be required. Only members signed on and paid as Drivers may drive on the track during this event. Front seat car passengers are allowed but they must be at least 17 years old, be signed on and must attend and fully understand the safety briefings and procedures. Drivers and Passengers must wear appropriate clothing, race suits are ideal but any clothing that covers your arms and legs is OK (i.e. no shorts and T shirts).Drivers should possess a full UK Driving Licence – this will be checked at signing on.The event is for road worthy cars only and all must pass an RAC MSA Static sound check, the limit is 101dB(A) and this will be measured at 0.5 metres and 45 degrees from the exhaust outlet at 75% of maximum revs.In addition there are drive by noise meters at various places around the track and any car that exceeds 87.5dB(A) will be called into the pits for remedial action.It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is within the sound limits at all times.If you have any doubts about passing the noise test then Club MSV offer a free noise test at their circuits. Believe me, this will be better than Silverstone and it's at a price that is a gift for what you get. Tim B, Dale, Tom and Peeter, you have all said you are comming, Clive & Gill, here is a golden opportunity to give it a real go. We need at least 10 entries to help out CSMA. Chriss Posted March 3, 2012 Author Share Posted March 3, 2012 Steve, my understanding of MoTs is that you can get an MoT for a car up to a month before the previous certificate expires. If I am correct, you should be able to get a certificate valid until April 10 2013 any time from March 10 2012.Can anyone else confirm this? Make sure you get your entry in before then.CSMA look like they have at least 20 entries themselves. That was their expandable limit, but they can increase the entry.
