Brendan The Spit
So in the past I've tried to get the steering wheel nut as tight as I can with the pliers but it always loosens after a while. I need to get a socket for the nut and do it properly but I don't know what size to get (my full socket set doesn't have one large enough!)Any ideas? This is for a 1500.ThanksBrendan
Brendan The Spit
I might have just answered my own question - from http://www.triumphspitfire.com/Size.html it seems to be 1 1/16"Would this do it? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Draper-76924-16-inch-Hi-Torq-Bi-Hexagon/dp/B0002GV3W6/ref=sr_1_2?s=diy&ie=UTF8&qid=1344111861&sr=1-
Fizzy
probably depends on the dish of the wheel, but i always managed to get a ring spanner on mine, at least enough to tighten it up. not a standard wheel though;
