Nick Jones
I seem to remember that the Mk1 and Early Mk2 PIs had the same cam as Mk 2 Vitesse and GT6. then, at some point this was changed to something rather less excellent..... Question is, at what point was it changed and is my March 72 registered car early enough to have the proper one?On a different note, I've been monkeying around with the car today sorting out front brakes and checking wheel bearings and was rather surprised to discover that the brake discs are the same basic size as my Vitesse ones and the wheel bearings look to be smaller..... no wonder they break sometimes.....Nick

andy thompson
Any PI engine post MG75000 has the 125 cam + will have the later manifolds with twin balance pipes. K reg PI's are safe - it happened 'about' the end of
