  1. There was a not inconsiderable amount of time and effort involved in my producing these. The filmstrips were scanned in New Zealand and then processed by me before publishing
  2. I have spent many years collecting and sharing Triumph related material. More and more people complain about the quality of or lack of a certain document. People share my stuff without acknowledgimg the source. People claim it as their work or sell.it. I am beginning to wonder why I bother. If you do not like it how about sharing something better.
  3. Who can edit the local area pages? Isle of Wight AO would like to add a note about forthcoming meetings
  4. Have you tried these TR7 specialists S & S Preparations Robsport
  5. +1 for Jasons comment. Be careful if it has not been used or moved recently. The mechanism could be stuck or be damaged. Best leave as is unless you are prepared to take the tank out.
  6. You can buy the stickers directly from the maker. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254697375075?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-153316-527457-8&mkcid=2&itemid=254697375075&targetid=4584688615591149&device=m&mktype=&googleloc=&poi=&campaignid=398826084&mkgroupid=1297423980380994&rlsatarget=pla-4584688615591149&abcId=9300498&merchantid=87779&msclkid=9764f131c1091ee3229691a132a5716e
  7. Seeing this photo again reminds me how happy it made me to get my car back after all the work you and your team at Canley Classics did on it @Slimboyfat
  8. Strange formatting. Screenshot from my android phone. The edited by text should all be under the image
  9. Whatever you can see will get worse if left untreated. It's always worse than you can see in my experience. If you are intending to do a full or part respray it would be worth digging into the visible patches first to see what you working on. Try to find out why that patch is rusty. Is there anything you can do to stop it breaking out elsewhere. For example check the doors drain and for mud in the wheel arches.
  10. https://app.box.com/s/6h4mintc3s2jizy23pt1mhi08hywalbg here is a link to factory workshop manual.
  11. I am still looking for Heritage CDs.  I was sent a copy of Triumph 2000/2500 CD but can not open the files without the original CD.  The owner can only find the copy not the original CD.
  12. Do you have link to this camshaft.  Is the part number you quote from a traders catalogue?
  13. Was interested to see the prop shaft bump stop.  I have one in a stash of mixed TR7 bits I collected a while ago..   Now I know what it is.
  14. I suggest you pick up the phone and talk to Burlem.  They had some really helpful and knowledgable staff last time I dealt with them.  As they supply much of the SU and Stromberg stuff to the market that others sell they will know when a particular item will be back in stock if they have not got it now.
  15. This photo recently appeared on flickr.  Do you recognise the either the car or the chap? https://flic.kr/p/2jNGD6k
  16. I think David Pearson has one in his Canley Classics collection: https://www.canleyclassics.com/?archive=prototype-2600-mkiii-saloon-1
  17. This is page from the Triumph Acclaim Product Insight Programme that was issued to salemen to help them sell the car. It explains the using of Trio-matic.
  18. The best way forward would be rolling road tuning. If it is too lean you need a thinner needle.  The profile of the needle controls the air flow and therefore amount of fuel available. Have a look at the tables in "Tuning Stromberg CD_Carburetters" a copy of which you can download from this page of my website at: http://vitessesteve.co.uk/Other-manuals Are you sure the ignition is keeping up?  Is there enough spark at the right time.
  19. I have been working with a chap from New Zealand to make available video versions of the old Standard Triumph training film strips.  Here is a link to the whole current playlist.
