  1. I wouldn't class a TR6 as a "small chassis car" I would have thought the compleat drive train would be more like the 2000/2500 saloon spec
  2. Arrived, started (with a tow) compleated section 1 then retired. Gertie's brother didn't like to start once he'd been turned off but then he is a "pi"   Problematic Injection 😀 shame as he was running really well once going Cheers mike for organising another rally I was/am begining to understand the gist of navagating these thing as last
  3. Ferny is riding a horse down a country lane, he see's his mate walking towards him. " where did you get that from" he asks "Oh,I won it in a raffle" the horse replies 😀

    Horn

I decided to run a new feed wire(blue), knowing my I'd blow something up if I'd run power the wrong way down a wire

    Horn

May have answered my own question :- I'm useing this relay and not the standard one C1 + C2 is fused power and power to hooter W1 Earth W2 trigger feed from hooter switch   Looking at the wiring diagram the trigger wire should be live up to the hooter button and it earths out to the steering colum,so it should be live. It must take its feed internally from inside the original relay I can't see any problem with sending a live feed down the purple wire to activate the relay

    Horn

Purple wire goes to horn rim hidden by the steering boss Should it be live ? Mine isn't but if I send power down it then my hooter works I thought it should be live and by pushing the hooter then it's earthed out to compleat the circuit If I set it up so when a switch is thrown that 12v goes down the purple wire will it cause any problems
  13. Pi wheel now replaced 🤔 I don't like the look of it at all, the pi wheel is 16" and it has a thin rim,all the aftermarket wheels are quite fat rimmed. The biggest wheel I have is a 14" and to me it looks way too small I can't seem to find a 16" wheel for under £200 ish. Looks like getting the pi wheel fixed has now moved higher up the "things to do" list Doesn't help that the boss was sold as 1967  - 1972  all models Seems it's simply a MK2 one
