Hi bud, Ive fitted Spax Front shocks (All parts from Rimmer's) part number GSA366SPAX, and Front Springs Uprated 1’’ lower 262 lbs part number 212425UR and on the rear  Spax shocks GDA4011SPAX and RH5371 this is a 1/2 lowering plate, along with a new rear spring from SC Parts part number 17409 I think I have got the ride height right it also drives good, it sits on 185x55x15 Minilite's

Okay 2.5 fully lightened and balanced, if it moves it has been lightened & balanced, gearbox fully uprated, overdrive unit up'ed by 20%, diff reconed, prop shortened and balanced, the gearbox, o/d & diff all done by TLD, it all runs as sweet as a nut ! I need to do a few more miles then its off to a rolling road to finish setting up the 40's, the head is flowed and chambers / ports balanced through out,
  4. I went electronic on my Mk3 GT6,  never a problem, the changed all bulbs to LED's
  5. I'd go back to Rimmer's and talk to Trevor in parts, he is a fountain of information, I have never had a problem with sending parts back

  8. Tony sorted all my transmission problems, Cam shaft, followers, ends, mains, rings, all the parts to rebuild the engine, including triple 40's, and a bucket load of advice
  9. Happy new year every body, I got TLD to rebuild my diff and gearbox, it took a couple of weeks and he did a fantastic job, which was cheaper then a recon diff from RB's , so i still have the correct numbers on the gearbox and diff, MK3 GT6 1972,
  10. Take number one plug out and gently turn the engine over with a long screw driver to fell the piston moving, so easy to find TDC

  14. guys do we get this problem with electric pumps ? if the fuel has vaporised will a electric pump fitted in the boot keep pushing fuel to the carbs
  15. Mines Rimmers Part number GEU9405URGT6-VIT Power-lite, looks like I've got to turn my signal holder round too, I also  had new ring gear fitted the other way round so that the chamfered edge matches the starter motor
  16. I have the same set up and yes it is blinking tight my spacer is 7mm thick also is your ring gear on the right way round, Yes I also saw the thread about the holes in the starter so mine are sealed and redialled, GT6s not sure what you mean is there another way to fit it ? mine is a Mk3 GT6

    Piero ( Franchi ), many thanks for the seat webbing I ended up making my own hooks out of stainless welding rod about 1.5 mm dia.I even managed to find the hooks and plates to staple the webbing together GAC 6121 P for the plates £0.57 ea and GAC 6121 H for the staples £0.38 ea  plus vat both from Moss Piero the webbing is just as you described it, it's blinking great thanks million chap and a fraction of the cost the other suppliers are charging

  22. check whichever 200 units you are using as three and five door cars had different struts look at trimmers web site part number BHE380260EVA (check the other struts) or part number BHE140020,, this is for tail gate with air spoiler, Ask and Trevor will tell you the best strut to use

Hello all, I have just rebuilt my gearbox and overdrive (J type) the chassis is sat in the garage and I have just noted that the overdrive box has a slight drip from one of the sump fixing bolts new gaskets and hylomar have been used on all gaskets, should I have used a thread sealer on the over drive sump bolts ta
