  1. to be fair I think the original email from Mile was asking 2013 participants what they thought had worked and did not work this year so there was little point in sending it to non participants. That email got slightly out of hand and Mike asked for the discussion to be moved to the forum where everyone can join in. The result is this thread. So if you have ideas how you would like to see the 10CR develop you can have your say here. It does NOT mean they will be adopted and the final decision will always be that of the organiser. If you are not happy with that you are free to look at organising something yourself   :)  :)  :)  :)  :) AndyF
  2. I see in the regs that I need to produce a current MOT certificate. Can I still play if I don't have one? AndyF
  3. Jutta and Andy will also be there but perhaps not on the run on Saturday. Andy
  4. yeah, like 30 years to do the west side of the Cologne ring road
  5. hmm it does not look as bad as I was made to believe. Perhaps if I have time when I get there I will give it a go. Andy
  6. Yes PD did go over the full route but said it would not be possible for a Triumph due to the size of the rocks on the road. If someone wants to try it please do I will be most interested in hearing how you get on but please remember you have been warned   :) AndyF
  7. we did think about including it but it was apparently very difficult even with a hire car and impossible for a Triumph so it was decided not to offer it in the official route. AndyF

  11. no wonder! Phil was having to do so much catch up he did not have time to stop so used the empty canisters everybody had given him. You should have tested for sugar  :)

Extra fuel tank install for some good fuel in reserve. Quick rack for those switchbacks Should keep me busy. :o we are going for a drive around Europe not to the bloody moon! AndyF

The 2003 10CR was: Friday -  after lunch drive overnight to Nice Saturday hotel in Nice Sunday – a swim in The Med. drive overnight to Plough for lunch on Monday If we continue like this people will not be able to tell us apart from the TR Register or the MGB club AndyF
  17. Yes, use Just Ferries, they have been good to Club Triumph in the past. AndyF
  18. don't buy a new one have the old one fixed or even better fix it yourself. If the bearings are okay then it can only be the rectifier or regulator. The regulator is a screw fit so only takes minutes and can be done on the car. The rectifier is a solder fit and it is best to take the alternator off the car. AndyF
  19. Let’s put it this way, I will be buying one! MikeW, will be you using the same car? If not it will effectively be a second hand vignette you are using in September. AndyF
  20. if it is low pressure then it could  be you need a new pump i.e. piston or the reservoir spring has weakened. Most likely the pump. AndyF
