I want to buy some replica minilites (speedlites) made in austalia

14" preferably as they look better than 13's

what is the biggest width you can get away with? i dont mind flaring the rear guards a little bit.

i currently have 165's on the front and 185's on the rear

I was always concerned about that installation. I guess it hasn't blown up yet, so what do I know? :-)
Cheers,
Bill.
Silly question, why dont you go for genuine Minilights? Had a pair arrive today and they are very good. works out approx £75 each for 13" in 3 3/4 inch PCD
by the time i pay shipping and import duty the local ones are cheaper and have a full warrenty on them.

also not sure if the minilites are ADR approved
