heraldhabitat
Just sent the log book away with the new engine number, starts RD which according to my info should be FWD, is it possible to convert to RWD why would anyone bother? I suspect it's been overhauled at some stage as there is no crank knock at all, never had a 1300 engine before that didn't clatter.
mikeyb
RD is fwd, but in reality the basic block differs little to the rwd ones, therefore is interchangeable. You have the bonus of a nice revvy small crank 1300 :-)
sparky_spit
Seems typically Triumph that an FD engine is for a Rear Drive car, and an RD engine is for a Front Drive car...
