thescrapman
That is what I thought but this contradicted itIf all your bearings are OE they will be stamped with : MAINS: 149550..A4 STD AV. CON-RODS: S2022SA...STD G/A TB...149549. These are VP2 standard bearings and are most likely OE to the engine. The STD means non over sized bearings and COULD say the crank has ever been turned. If you see .010 stamped on the bearing(s) well your crank has been turned.fromhttp://www.british-cars.net/triumph-tr6-bbs/tr6-engine-no-hope-2005042704055528046.htmIf it was the proper engine for the car it would have got new ones, but other signs indicate the engine has done little mileage since rebuild (10k or so??).So are they definately Glaciers?? And were all glaciers teh same, or did they change the formulation. Kinda-like Original Coke and "New Best TAste Ever" Coke that wasn't.CheersColinp.s. any thought on teh OP708 pump???Cheers again
