Standard MK1 Wheel and Tyre dimensions

It would have had 5.60*13 crossplies.

I thought the option for a Mk1 2000 was 155/80-13 tyres, the PI having 185/80-13.

Need to double check the handbook at home.. :-)

Cheers

Colin

p.s. find yourself a set of 14inch Stag steels, much better choice of tyre and look very similar if you are so inclined.

I've got a motley selection of steel wheels MK1 4.5j x 13 & Mk2 some of the MKIIs are 5j x 13?

I use 6j x 13s on my rally MK1 with 185/70/13 Kumho R700 rally tyres. Superb handling and braking in all conditions but they do howl.

Cheers

Darren

Mk1's on crossplys were 6.40x13 .. Radial option 175x13 .. And Mk1 PI had 185x13 .
Radial 175x13 getting very hard to come by however I did find that Toyo still make this size currently .
Crossplys and 185x13 Michelin XAS still available from Vintage tyre supplies ( at a cost ! )
