Stu 1986 Posted May 8, 2013 Share Posted May 8, 2013 Hello chaps just a quick question really. I've just noticed I need to fit Door check straps to my 13/60 and I was looking at how they will go in. I can't see how they fit & I can't find any reference to them in any of the books. I might just be missing The wood for the trees I don't know. Paudman Posted May 8, 2013 Share Posted May 8, 2013 They just slot in through the door from inside out, remove the door trim and the stays go through the aperture in the door frame. They don't attach to anything at the door end; the other end goes into the clip on the A post of the bulkhead. You can grind down a small bolt to secure it, if you don't have the original rivets.
