WIMPUS
Hi! I'm putting a new headliner into my hardtop (spit 1500) And it's also been repainted. Now got a question .. i've seen that the hinge of the side window need to be revited .. but shouldn't there be something inbetween the new paint and the chrome ? :-/ (otherwise maybe damage when install..) :-/I know there was nothing inbetween in when i removed it ( was a original brown hardtop i believe & once was over sprayed in dark red )

WIMPUS
Just one thing i've seen this evening .. the new seal is not pressing to the chrome/glass :-/So nee another seal ( maybe like the ones for the doors ..) Did look on woolies .. they have one with a 10mm and one with 16mm D shape . http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/p-1282-plush-sponge-snappon.aspx Or http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/p-1173-plush-snappon-rubber.aspxBut i want a seal with fabric on the inside ( find that nicer :)) .. but it's expensive at woolies ??) Does anyone know where you get them cheaper ? :)I know i bought mine in Antwerp on a oldtimer event .. the guy lives maybe 15km from my door, so maybe give him a call ;)
WIMPUS
You can see that the seal is not very good against the window :-/
WIMPUS
So tested it with a left over from my door seals .. (around 16mm)I've also got some with a 10mm round thing .. but it also doesn't work :-/
WIMPUS
You can also see it a bit on the outside ... but don't think it looks that bad :)
WIMPUS
Did the other window also .. there the seals fit. But i've also noticed that the right window (today installed) sits a bit higher then the other one ..
