Dannyb
Each stonegaurd comes with three clips. Take off the crome surround or on the mk4 & 1500 the cowl. And these clips go under the three scres that hold the headlight unit. replace the surround and you have the three clips pocking through. These wil hold the stone guard. You may have to bend them a bit. easy to fit.
Velocita Rosso
The stone guards are OK ,only if the stones are bigger than 1euro piece, anything smaller will just penetrate the mesh

Dannyb
Go for the stainless steel ones. I found the chrome ones go rusty faily quick
Alex
These would have been handy on the RBR as I smashed a light. The stone went straight through and smashed the bulb too!The hole in the light is huge and the stone inside is pretty big so they would have saved me.Fortunately Tim Hunt kindly loaned me a spare light unit saving me from having to tape a torch on my bonnet ;D
