WIMPUS Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 This week the teacher of the body shop arrived with something on his trailer (for the guys that don't know, i'm a handyman at a school now).It is a 1953 Tempo Metador (2 stroke engine) !Was a bit surprised when i could see the front suspension... First 2 pic's was of the car that arrived (and on the second pic you can see the Fox to).The other pics is from the internet, they made a few with VW beetle engines, but then suddenly VW didn't want to sell there engines to them anymore as they found out the Matador sold better then there transporter ! Nick Jones Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Transverse leaf springs have been used in various vehicles over the years. Most recent one I can think of is the original Seat Ibiza (based on the Fiat Strada/Ritmo floorpan) which had one at the rear.Nick Quote
