Clive
Use the ones with the springs around the spindles. They cause MUCH less wear on the spindles/carb body. I guess because they are twisting the spindle in the right direction, rather that crudely pulling the whole spindle/linkage up linearly. In fact, having just read^^^ I am in total agreement. (Really must read threads rather than latest posts)
GT6boy
Don't fit the God-awful Toilet-tune plates. They are rubbish. Do as Tim states. 8)
Royboy66
Yes agree! Do as Tim,Clive,Bruce have just said ! I had the Toiletune adaptor plates fittted, didnt like them, so took em off and did as Tim has advised, 1/2 hr with 'rat' file to open holes up on carb bodies. I have the HS6's fitted with the springs around spindles, made a very simple bracket to hold throttle cable , works Great.Tip, go to bicyle shop and buy a cable for mountain bike gear change, nice coated inner cable= Smooooth ;)
