roger.england
What's the standard connection between the carbs on a MK 2 GT6. A friend's recently acquired GT6 has rubber tube from the spindle on one carb to the other. I'm assuming this is, how shall we call it, a non-standard feature!Roger
GT6Craig
I believe its a steel rod with a flexible coupling between that and the spindles. That looks like this (if you can see)My mk1 has a steel rod with a nylon end bit which is connected to both spindle and rod via a split pin pushed through. Not sure exactly which one yours should have

rotoflex
The Mk1 had the plastic things at the ends. They age and break, and the later springy things work better. They can break too, though, I've broken one by tightening the little screw too much too often!
