esxefi Posted July 22, 2016 Share Posted July 22, 2016 still sounds like an earth problem as the side lights and brake lights are separate circuits but share a common earth point.take the holders out and run a jump wire to a good earth(batt is best)and get someone to go through the motions while you earth each circuit in turn and together. It's a early my 72 did it have one if so we're abouts is it ?Have run new earths with a wire inside bulb holder to a floor bolt and show a good Earth on tester When lights on no 12v showing on lead with lights off it shows power so it must be something inline with the brake power lead ?
