Calorian Posted November 27, 2006 Share Posted November 27, 2006 Hey there,Im looking at changing my instrument panel to one with a tachometer,unfortunately I cannot seem to find a 2000 MKII instrument panel anywhere (ebay, online ETC) I can however fund a dolomite (Or a Sprint) instrument panel which looks "Similar" but I am not entirely sure if it would fit? Silvery Posted November 27, 2006 Share Posted November 27, 2006 It won't fit.When I had my 2000 I kept thinking about fitting the rev counter where the multigauge sits, and drilling a couple of 2" (IIRC - 52mm)holes for the temp and fuel (and volts if there was enough space, but not essential). Or you could get a mounting panel for the smaller type and put a tacho in the larger multi gauge hole.Or, as the PO of my 2000 did, you could fit an oil pressure gauge rather badly in a singly instrument panel and bolt it down by the drivers right knee, and not fit a backlight. And not bother with a T piece either thus leaving the perssure warning light disconnected... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
