He's also joining the club as I type! ;DAnother unsuspecting fool joins the madness! :PNow all I need to do is get the form in pdq when it falls through the letter box in next months mag, otherwise it'll all go a bit flat! GT6 John
Damn, my sneaky plan to abuse someone elses car rather than getting my newly painted pride and joy all horrible and mucky has been revealed!Still, I'm countering this by the fact that Clive has a manky old set of steels lying around that I'm going to put on the GT6 in place of the airy, fairy, namby pamby, poncy, flowery, look good but rubbish for proper driving, wires! :PI just wanted to give another chap an opportunity to feel the joy of completeing such a great event in your own car.Plus Clive and I have been chatting about teaming up to do some driving events next year, so we'll share the two cars depending on the event etc. ;DSo my newly painted car is going to see some action... honest! :P
Deleted User
Well having just spent the day with Clive at stonleigh [told him all about your bad habits] i think he wants to come with me and katie in the herald :P
GT6 John
Oi! No purloining of co-drivers allowed! Sneaky, that's what that is, down right sneaky! :PSeriously if that's what he wants to do first time out then fine. I've been offered a seat in Bobs Saloon if I want it, anyway. Hmmm, comfort... :PYou not doing the RBRR in your GT6 this time round then Doug?
Clive
Doubt it will be ready in time. Ask how many of his triumphs are working at the mo. Reckon the F powered spit will be well and truely ready, thinking about seats for comfort!
Deleted User
Only kidding John ...the GT6 WILL be roadworthy by then but it will prob be just me and Katie doing it so we'll go in the Herald, as i won't be able to insure her on the GT6Did you spot the message about the wed night navigational evening with ERMC? GT6 John
Knowing the way Katie drives, the Herald won't be any slower than the GT6 anyway! ;D It was only on the hills that I was able to keep up with her last year! No, I've spotted no such message, Doug. I'll PM you about it.
