PaulB
Is high temperature paint ok to paint a radiator or is one suppose to use a special paint?
willcolumbine
High temperature paint should be fine. I've always used it and had no problems!
JohnD
Any colour you like, as long as it's black.
PaulB
Thanks for the advice. I shall get painting once I've mowed the lawn!
Clive
I would be careful about painting the fins though. The paint will help insulate them, reducing cooling. So as thin as possible........the tanks don't matter Clive
irish44j
my newly-painted radiator, with a little "window" to the brass ;)I used high-heat spray for BBQs....it sticks better on the brass than engine paint.

heraldcoupe
Eastwood used to sell a paint formulated specifically for radiators. While I've never used that particular one, their other custom finishes have always been excellent and performed exactly as intended. Since Eastwood pulled out of the UK, I believe Frost carries most, if not all of their paints,Cheers,Bill.
